CLASS 2nd Edition Pre-K–3rd Trainer Transition Training.
CLASS 2nd Edition Pre-K–3rd Trainer Transition Training is a three-day training program that equips organizations with the capacity to smoothly transition their Pre-K and/or K-3 certified affiliates to become CLASS 2nd Edition Measurement Trainers, fostering deeper CLASS knowledge and enhancing facilitation skills. This training empowers participants to become certified in adult learning facilitation and CLASS expertise. It enables them to lead their organization's transition to CLASS 2nd Edition, expanding their impact and improving interactions within their program.
Upon completing the training, your next step is to certify on CLASS 2nd Edition. If you have tested within the last 6 months, you'll receive an email after training that grants you access to a complementary test. If it's been longer than 6 months since your recertification, you'll need to purchase a certification test.
When you are ready to test, you'll have 8 weeks to complete the Trainer Knowledge Test to become certified. This test validates your adult learning and facilitation skills, as well as CLASS 2nd Edition expertise. If you need to transition your 2008 Observer Certification, you will take the 2nd Edition Observer Reliability Test at the same time.
Once certified, you’ll gain exclusive rights to deliver CLASS® trainings in your organization.
Prerequisites: Active Pre-K and/or K-3 CLASS 2008 Affiliate CLASS Trainer Certification. All participants are required to sign a training agreement upon completion of the course, as well as annually upon recertification. The agreement will be provided via email on the first day of your training.
This training does not require you to transition your observer certification prior to attending. If needed, upon completion of this three-day training you will recertify your observer certification on CLASS 2nd Edition at the same time as the Trainer Knowledge test.
