Pre-K CLASS 2008 Observation Training (Hybrid)
Agenda
Day 1, Independent required online coursework (about 4 hours) Please Note - online coursework must be completed prior to Day 2 in order to receive access to the Trainer facilitated portion of session.
Day 2, 11:00am-4:00pm EST: Trainer facilitated session followed by independent required online coursework (about 2.5 hours)
Day 3, 11:00am-4:00pm EST: Trainer facilitated session followed by independent optional online coursework (about 1 hour)
Description
The first step on your CLASS Journey. During this 3-day, virtual training, participants will build an in-depth understanding of the CLASS methodology and prepare to reliably assess teaching quality by focusing on the most important driver of classroom learning: the interactions teachers have with their students.
Please note: In order to receive a certificate of completion and Pre-K reliability test participants must complete all online coursework and attend both facilitated sessions. If participants do not fully complete the online learning, they will not be permitted to participate in the facilitated sessions or have access to the Pre-K reliability test.

Upon completion of the training participants receive:
- Certification of completion and CEUs
- Access to Pre-K reliability test:
- Upon completion of the training, participants have 8 weeks to complete the testing process
- Participants are provided study aids and practice videos with justifications
- Each participant is given up to three test attempts to achieve reliability
- Automated individualized feedback is provided after each test attempt

Teachstone prides itself on participant success. Success in our virtual training is dependent on your attendance and active engagement throughout the training. As such, participants are asked to be on-time each day of the training, and engage in whole group and small group discussions and activities.
