Toddler CLASS 2008 Observation Training (Hybrid)
Agenda
Prior to Day 1, complete at your own pace, 4 hours of independent required online coursework.
An email inviting you to access the required online coursework will be delivered approximately 2-weeks prior to the start of your training.
Day 1: Trainer facilitated session (4.5 hours) followed by independent required online coursework (about 2 hours)
Day 2: Trainer facilitated session (5.5 hours) followed by recommended online coursework (about 1 hour)
Description
Virtual CLASS Observation Training is a 3-day training that helps you build capacity to collect CLASS teaching assessment data, which is the first step on your organization's journey to improving the quality of teacher-student interactions in the classroom. This 3-day hybrid training will include both live virtual facilitation and web-based online coursework. Please see the schedule above to prepare in advance. Please Note - online coursework must be completed prior to the Day 1 trainer facilitated session in order to receive access to your Virtual Meeting Link.

What's Included
Training participants will receive:
- Training Materials: CLASS Manual, CLASS score sheets, CLASS Master Code Justifications, and CLASS Observation Training Participant Guide for each participant
- Access to independent online course works. Roughly 7 hours spread through the training
- Includes 3-month access to online content via the myTeachstone platform
- Online reliability testing access with automated feedback for participants
- CLASS Observer Certification upon successful completion of CLASS Reliability Test

Virtual Conference Details
The live, trainer facilitated portions of the training are hosted over the Zoom Video Conferencing platform. Click here to find Zoom set-up and directions if needed.
Teachstone prides itself on participant success. Success in this live, blended online training is dependent on participant completion of online coursework associated with each facilitated session, attendance, and active engagement throughout the training. As such, participants are asked to complete the online coursework prior to the scheduled start time of the next session, be on-time each day, and engage in whole group and small group discussions and activities.
